“Show your support” video-challenge

Welcome to the “Show your support” video-challenge

We know that the support for positive initiatives after the terrorist attacks in Norway is very strong. We want to gather all the support that we can, from around the world, into an inspiring network of support for “TO OSLO, WITH LOVE”.

All you have to do is to grab your mobile or laptop and record yourself or others saying the line: “Show your support - TO OSLO, WITH LOVE!”

Now, the trick is to get the first part of the phrase: “Show your support”, in lots of different languages. “TO OSLO, WITH LOVE” always stays in english.

You will find all the clips gathered on our YouTube channel. For simplicity you can email your clips directly to: tooslowithlove@gmail.com - please indicate in the subject or message your name, city, country and language. You can also write a note if you represent a specific group, school or organization.

The individual or school/organization that gathers the most supporters or most languages will get a big video-greeting in return from the participants in Oslo.

MORE DETAILS, INSPIRATION AND RULES

Several schools and organizations have given us their official moral support for “TO OSLO, WITH LOVE” - a nordic Open Space dialog after the terrorist attacks in Norway - to be held in Oslo on november 4-6th.

However, mainly it’s been the heads of the schools and organizations telling us they like the project and they will send representatives and spread the word. We love them for their support and inspiration, we really do, but we know there’s more where that came from!

And THERE’S your challenge! You can really make this support come alive!

The challenge is simple: “Show your support - TO OSLO, WITH LOVE!”

DIRECTIONS:

  • Equip yourself with a recording device or camera of any sort (I’d go for mobile or laptop), and record people saying that one line: “Show your support - TO OSLO, WITH LOVE!” - but in their respective language(s) (NB! “TO OSLO, WITH LOVE” stays in english, always!)
  • if you want you can use the fun prop of a super simple cut-out red paper heart to symbolize the OSL<3 logo 
  • email each clip separately, directly from your mobile or computer to tooslowithlove@gmail.com or post them directly as video response to our own support-us-video on YouTube (or on vimeo if you prefer).  


AND YOU SHALL BE REWARDED:

  • Each unique person recorded grants the person/organization 10 points (1 person = 10 points)
  • Each unique language recorded grants another 10 points (1 language = 10 points)
  • Any particularly creative or funny recording can grant up to another 20 points maximum (objectively judged by a board of participants in Oslo).
  • Lastly, the three most viewed clips from each person/school/org by november 6th will be granted 1 extra point per 10 views.
  • Very finally, any funds that are generated to the main crowdfunding campaign from the respective organizations’ video activity will also qualify for 1 extra points per 100 SEK raised.
  • And just as an extra bonus, every unique user like + wall post on our facebook page will be added up and granted 1 point per unique wall post, saying e.g. “This KaosPilot supports TO OSLO, WITH LOVE”


THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL:

  • All scores will be added at 07:00 on november 6th. The person/organization/school with the highest score will get a big video shout-out from the Oslo participants “THANKS …. FOR THE SUPPORT - FROM OSLO, WITH LOVE”.
  • The winner will also be featured in the final documentation of the dialogue, through an exclusive interview, in written and filmed form.
  • And will of course be given a copy of the final documentation from the dialogue - which itself will be called FROM OSLO, WITH LOVE <3

AN EXTRA NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Be smart! You may use ALL your networks to gain points in this challenge, not only from your particular context’s members, staff, students and alumni. You also don’t have to record each clip yourself, others can do the same with their own devices… Good luck! And remember - Show your support - TO OSLO, WITH LOVE! <3
